Account Manager, Ireland – Connectivity/IT Infrastructure Management Solutions

Job Description

A leading global provider of IT infrastructure management solutions for enterprise data centers is currently recruiting for an ambitious and dynamic Account Manager to be home based in the Dublin area. The role involves promoting our client’s products and services, principally IT and Customer Service Management systems, into the existing customer base throughout Ireland

Key responsibilities include:
• Generation of sales to meet set targets.
• To manage your sales pipeline and produce timely and accurate forecasts.
• To record all sales activity within the appropriate internal systems.
• To work with the Sales Manager to identify new opportunities within the customer base.
• To keep up to date with current and future Avocent products as released.
• To travel as required throughout Ireland for customer meetings.
• To travel as required to our UK office in Woking, Surrey.
You will be a solutions sales person with a proven track record of achieving targets and building relationships. Knowledge gained from selling IT infrastructure management solutions for enterprise data centres is strongly desirable.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
• Minimum 3 years working within Account Management
• Commercial awareness
• Experience in a similar industry
