Job Description

An experienced Pre-Sales Consultant / Application Developer is required to join an established team working with sales selling customer service and contact centre software solutions to the telecommunications market.

Our client is a leading provider of multichannel customer service and knowledge management software for on-site or on-demand deployment. They provide Global 2000 companies with Enterprise Interaction Management (EIM) software to transform traditional call centers, help desks, and web customer service operations into multichannel customer interaction hubs.

With responsibilities crossing web site and Windows application development, integration to third party software, technical architecture design, consultancy and application support, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled developer to develop the customer facing side of their skill set. The ideal candidate will be able to work with current and new technologies to create visionary applications while understanding the business benefits which they deliver.

You will be working with Sales, Presales and Professional Services teams across Europe and have the customer facing skills required presenting to or working alongside prospects and customers.

As a versatile, self motivated individual, you should have strong experience in .NET, J2EE especially JSPs, SQL, XML, DHTML, JavaScript, networking, Microsoft SQL Server and Windows 2003. With these skills you should be able to develop web services, web and "fat" applications and integrate to other applications (e.g Siebel) and create technical architectural documents.
Any experience of CTI/telephony, UNIX, Perl or web design would be a plus.

Additionally experience of most of the following would put you in the selection category:
• Pan EMEA experience
• Emerging market
• Contact centre, CRM or Content Management markets
• Telecommunications market.
• Fluency in at least one non English European language would be very useful
• Ability and willingness to travel outside the UK
