Job Description
Our client is a world leader in Supply and Contract Management software solutions and they have an exceptional opportunity for a European Product Marketing Director. The role has overall responsibility for championing our clients product and services solutions through European direct sales and partner organisations, as well as defining and managing the marketing program strategy for pipeline generation throughout Europe.
The Product Marketing Director will work with a regional sales team based at various locations across Europe. Specifically, the role will require the candidate to instigate and own a process of close collaboration and accountability re efforts to generate leads within named accounts in each territory, working closely with sales and inside sales to execute various Account Based Marketing strategies.
Responsibilities include: creating and delivering content as well as communicating and supporting the sales process for all products and services; providing feedback to the sales, marketing, operations and product management teams regarding market, competitor and product/service requirement; management of two reports within the marketing & communications team in Europe charged with executing the demand generation & lead generation program across all European sales regions; Create industry specific sales materials and deliver in-depth training to sales and partners; support industry and media analysts.
The successful candidate will have 5+ years-successful experience of product marketing with a leading entrepreneurial software organization; a clear understanding of the concepts of, and proven experience in marketing complex enterprise software (e.g., SCM, CRM, PLM, or ERP solutions; an understanding of the procurement, strategic sourcing or supply chain management business process; experience of marketing high value software solutions to Global 1000 companies; Proven ability to manage a team of marketing and PR resources to successfully deliver marketing programs to support a growing business across Europe. Ideally educated to degree level with the ability to travel internationally on short notice. Highly desirable is another European languages such as French & German.
