Job Description

An experienced Senior Consultant is required to join a leading vendor of enterprise marketing technology to provide professional hands-on implementation and technical advice to colleagues, partners and customers to ensure the successful implementation of our client’s Campaign Management and Analytics based solutions.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager the role requires experience in the design and configuration of Marketing Database solutions. The applicant must have a good understanding of Customer Database processes (e.g. Single Customer View creation) and concepts such as data modeling, segmentation and selection.

You will be a self-starting capable team player with business and IT skills able to work in a professional manner with clients and at all times remain focused on key Professional Services goals, primarily brand protection, financial effectiveness and client satisfaction. You will ensure the adoption of best practice and core product functionality to deliver clients’ requirements wherever possible.

The consultant may be required to work on multiple projects, possibly across multiple time zones in a lead and/or technical role providing advice and guidance to multiple customers and partners at the same time. They must be highly organized, a project all-rounder and as comfortable writing data processing routine scripts as they are resolving complex technical or business issues.

Technical skills
Essential
• Comprehensive knowledge of CRM or Campaign Management solutions and functions and operational components
• Industry experience with Marketing Database Solutions
• Understanding of software development processes, languages and tools.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience with relational database solutions
• Experience in database design and data analysis tools
• Good understanding of Windows operating systems and files systems

Desirable
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server data processing and administration tasks
• Good understanding of enterprise infrastructure architecture e.g. Network, Citrix, Virtualisation, SANs
• Experience in software solution design and implementation
• Project Management experience
• Knowledge of data modeling processing and packages
• Knowledge of database reporting packages

National and international travel may be required, sometimes at short notice. You must be comfortable with project locations sometimes being away from their base office working at client locations.
