Job Description

An experienced Regional Account Manager is required to join an existing team selling enterprise application management software.

Our client maximizes the value of the software the world develops and uses. A leading provider of software licensing, entitlement management, installation, and application readiness, customers worldwide use their solutions to drive cost and time from the software supply chain - from software vendors and high-tech manufacturers to enterprise and government.

This position will focus on targeted sales efforts and customer relationship management in a territory, focusing on Software Vendors. Individuals will be responsible for developing opportunities, setting sales strategy; competitive positioning and account plan execution in selling various product solutions to customers and prospects. Responsibilities are: the attainment of revenue quotas, accurate forecasting, participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key influencers and to ensure customer success.

Your experience will include:
• Demonstrated track record closing complex solution sales with a transaction value of $100,000-$500,000+
• Preferably 10 years experience in a business to business software sales role
• Fluent with and consistent practitioner of one of the major sales process methodologies.
• Naturally consultative in your approach
• Experienced at building return on investment (ROI) cases with customers.
• Experience selling at a senior management level (VP/C-level)
• Ability to interact with Technical Buying influences during Product demos and evaluations
• Experience selling solutions comprising consulting, implementation and training services
• Excellent communication/presentation and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in verbal and written German & English, with excellent phone presence and presentation skills
• Strong negotiation skills (practiced through the entire lifecycle of a sales opportunity.)
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and to work remotely with little or no direct supervision
• A technical aptitude as a level credible in an engineering management sales presentation is desirable.
